有刺客 (You Ci Ke), the 2015 ADM Digital Animation graduation film by Ronald Fong, Han Qingping, Candice Lee and Xiangting Su received all 3 available animation awards at the 2016 National Youth Film Awards today!

All the hard work and late nights, as we strived to make the best animation within our abilities, paid off at NYFA 2016. Big thanks to the Jury of NYFA 2016, Prof. Hannes Rall, Mr Davis Vu, Ms Jasmine Seo, my teammates, my family, and all the brilliant ADM Animation schoolmates who walked by and gave their feedback and words of encouragement. A HUGE thank you.

ADM graduation film 有刺客 “You Ci Ke” by Ronald Fong, Han Qingping, Candice Lee and Xiangting Su has been selected for the New York Animation Nights Festival. We learned of this great news from our project supervisor Prof Hannes Rall. To make things even more awesome, Prof Hannes latest film “All the World’s a Stage” (2016) has also been selected for the festival.

NTU Convocation Dinner 2015

I’ve had to pleasure to dine with distinguished individuals who have helped, over the years, to nurture leaders through research and to provide broad education in diverse disciplines.

Prof Lui Pao Chuen (seated far right) left the deepest impression on me although we only briefly exchanged. Despite his wealth of knowledge and experience, he took time to acknowledge the ideas I was sharing and to give his encouragement. A strong reminder for myself to listen to and value the voice of the younger generation. Respect. :)
