A classic. I was mesmerized by the design of the Mini Cooper S 2007, and it was announced about the time I was getting start in 3D modelling and animation. That’s a good 15 odd years ago. It’s been sitting in my hard disk, and I decided to take the model out for a spin (so to speak) with a modern renderer like Redshift.

Mindblowing. Almost surreal. I used to wait about 60 minutes for a frame smaller than HD. And this renders in 4K, in about 3 minutes. Good times!
