Process

The process for creating these piece was very quick and enjoyable. Prepared layered of CGI “paper”, ran a cloth simulation, played with Redshift’s sub-surface scattering materials, and sent a sequence for render.

The most time-consuming process was actually cherry picking the most beautiful frames. Interestingly, Six N’ Five and Microsoft Windows 11’s creative team face a very similar challenge – narrowing it down to the few ‘sculptures’ that best represented what the new OS brought to the table.
